The house shells

Four branded frames, one per alias. Each is a finished frame around a single empty well: an agent writes the body and nothing else, and the email arrives branded with no work. Nothing below has been sent. Approve a shell and it becomes the frame for every email that alias ever sends.

Before anything sends

Three things are missing, and none of them are design.

Postal addressnot set
CAN-SPAM requires a valid physical address in every commercial email. The hello shell will not render without one, so hello@ cannot legally send until this exists. The reports and no-reply shells are relationship and transactional mail and are exempt.
Opt-out pagenot set
The hello shell needs a working unsubscribe URL. Opscend has no opt-out page yet — DEI has one at /email-unsubscribe and the same page can be built for Opscend.
Sending the mailmarcel@ works today
marcel@opscend.net sends now, through OpFlow's gmail.send_email on the opscend gmail connection (is_html true, the rendered shell as the body). reports@, hello@ and no-reply@ do not: Gmail can only send from a configured Send-as alias, and the other path — the opscend-email Worker — is corrected to opscend.net in source but undeployed (the Cloudflare token has Pages, not Workers) with its domain not yet onboarded to Cloudflare Email Sending. opscend.net is the only domain Opscend owns; there is no opscend.com.

Shell

reports

reports@opscend.net

A client receiving their reporting. Relationship content.

A report is read, not conversed with. Compact masthead so the numbers start above the fold, a docket band that answers which client, which period before the first word, and a well that styles tables because reporting arrives as rows.

Shell

hello

hello@opscend.net

A person. Outreach, onboarding, a reply. Commercial email.

A letter, so it opens like one. The full centred lockup earns its space because the first thing a stranger needs is who is writing. It signs off with a named human — mail from hello@ that nobody signed is mail from a company, which is exactly what this alias exists to avoid. The only one of the three that is commercial email.

Shell

marcel

marcel@opscend.net

Marcel, personally. One person, always. No masthead — the name is already on the envelope.

The only shell with no masthead at all, and that is the design. The other three announce a sender; this one has a person's name on the envelope already, so a wordmark would be the second time you were told — and a 44px lockup above a note that opens "Aaron, quick thought" is the exact tell that a machine wrote it. The copy starts at the top of the sheet. The brand appears once, as an 8px acid square beside the signature. It is two things in law: correspondence (a reply, someone he knows — no opt-out, because an unsubscribe link on a reply tells a person they were on a list) and outreach (a stranger — CAN-SPAM in full). The renderer will not guess: purpose is required and the wrong combination throws.

Shell

no-reply

no-reply@opscend.net

A machine talking to a person. Transactional.

Scanned, not read. One-line masthead, the event named above the body, a first-class block for a one-time code, tables styled for alerts and receipts, and no marketing chrome at all. The foot admits the mailbox does not read and points at hello@.
